Thomas Vernon Dean

Thomas (Tom) Vernon Dean (41) of Kansas City, KS passed away on December 28, 2021.
Tom was born in Portland, Oregon on June 5, 1980. He attended Blue Valley High School, and was the owner/operator of Dean Freightlines LLC. A long time truck driver, Tom had only just recently gained his authority to go into business for himself. Tom was also a well respected member of the killifish community and his family is grateful for their support.

Tom leaves behind his partner of 6 years, Ashley Coleman (Kansas City, KS); son, Easton Thomas Dean; daughter, Riley Madison Dean; sister, Darrah Mitchell and her husband, Michael; brother, Bob Schletewitz and his wife, Carmen.

Tom is preceded in death by his mother, Andrea Sue Dean (1997) and his father, John Bass Dean III (2007).

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Muehlebach Funeral Care 6800 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Tom will be laid to rest with his parents on a later date in a private family ceremony at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Overland Park, KS.
