Thomas Maxwell Meng

Thomas Maxwell Meng, age 49, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on May 7, 2018 at the Kansas City Hospice House. He gave a great gift and donated his body to the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. Thomas is greatly missed by his family and friends.Thomas was born on November 26, 1968 in Kansas City, Kansas, to his parents, O.J. Meng and Barbara (Griffith) Meng. He was the younger of two children, having one sister, Mary. Thomas spent most of his life in Kansas City. He graduated from Wyandotte High School, and he went on to work for a variety of companies as a laborer and handy-man in the Kansas City area.He is preceded in death by his father, O.J. Meng. Thomas is survived by his beloved mother, Barbara Meng of Las Vegas, NV; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Cooper and husband Jeffrey of Las Vegas, NV.
