Thomas Earl Garrett

Thomas Earl Garrett was born July 25, 1930 to the union of Frank and Irene Harvey Garrett in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the youngest of four siblings. He gained his wings on March 15, 2018 and was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife of 49 years, Ardis Garrett, brother Kenneth R. Garrett, Sr., and his sister Catherine Daugherty.
Tommy , as known by family and friends, was united in marriage to Ardis McClellan on April 3, 1961. They were a team, admired by all. Among his many occupations, he provided funeral motorcycle escorts along with his brother, Kenneth and long time friend, Sydney Perkins. He was a skillful, talented carpenter by trade. He could fix anything he set his mind to. Many friends and family would often call upon him to assist with their needs. Being the gentleman he was ~ he was happy to oblige. He was an avid animal lover, he loved cooking, always gave kindly from his heart, and was loved by everyone he met.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory; daughter, Cynthia Booth, one brother, Frank Garrett, Jr. (Jean), Grandsons, Stephen Mansaw, Jr. (Lisa), Adrian Mansaw (Marquise), granddaughter, Cheron Carter, 7 great grandchildren, Special Nephew, Kenneth R. Garrett, III (Ashley); Niece, Irene Garrett, Norma Jean McHudson, Yvonne S. Wilson and Vivienne Smith, sister-in-law, Delia Garrett, several nieces, nephews, and a host of many friends.
