Susan Stansell Ladd

Susan Stansell Ladd, 93, of Prairie Village, KS passed away November 6, 2017. Born October 13, 1924 in Miami, OK to William "Brown" and Susie V. Stansell. Susan graduated from Miami High School in 1942 and attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. On December 29, 1951 she married Richard Ladd and together raised three children. Susan was a member of Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Richard F. Ladd; children, Dr. William R. Ladd and wife Heidi, Robert S. Ladd, Sr. and wife Jane and M. Elizabeth Ladd; grandchildren, William Pierce Ladd, Robert Stansell Ladd, Jr. and wife Kathy, David Christopher Ladd, Alyssa Jane Ladd, Helene Picard and husband Chase; great grandchild, Laura Claire Ladd. Susan was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be 11:30 am Monday, November 13th at G.A.R Cemetery, Miami, OK. Memorial services will be 10:30 am Tuesday, November 14th at Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church, 9300 Nall Ave., Overland Park, KS. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Rolling Hills Presbyterian Church or Miami First Presbyterian Church, 1410 NE Veterans Blvd, Miami, OK 74354.
