Steven J. Underwood

Steven J. Underwood, 52, of Lees Summit, MO, passed away April 26, 2018 at Research Medical Center. A visitation will be held Monday, April 30 from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. John Francis Regis Church, 8941 James A Reed Rd, KCMO, 64138. In lieu of flowers the family suggest contributions to Furry Kids Refuge, P.O. Box 1442, Lees Summit, MO 64063.
Steve was born July 27, 1965, in Kansas City, MO, to Jim and Donna Underwood. He was a loving husband, father, son, and brother. After graduating from college, he had 29 dedicated years of service to the IRS. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Underwood, his two sons, Nikolai and Aleksandr Underwood, his father Jim Underwood, sister, Jill Reid, brothers; Mark Underwood and wife Candace, Michael Underwood, and Robert Underwood, niece, Megan, and nephews Spencer and Justin.
