Sean J. Lawless

Sean James Lawless completed his lifes work on February 11, 2022. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 19 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeths Catholic Church, 75th and Main, Kansas City, Missouri. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Catholic Charities or a charity of ones choice.
Sean was born December 23, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri, the third son of Virginia and Edward Lawless. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Paul. He is survived by: sister, Donna Noreen Newell (Charles) and his brothers, Kevin William, Vincent Allen and Patrick Edward (Valerie) Lawless; niece Virginia Jane Newell and great-niece Jayden Noreen Williams; nephew Paul John Lawless, uncle Donald James Lawless; aunt Henrietta Hudman; step-niece Crystal Newell Bernhardy (William) and their children Isaac, Edward, Michaelia and Gracie.
Sean had helped take care of his father for the last several years. He enjoyed working in the garden and trying new recipes with the food he harvested. He kept the bird feeders full so his father could enjoy watching the birds. He liked playing cards with the family and working with computers. He enjoyed playing board games with Virginia and baking cakes with Jayden. He would go on walks with Virginia when she was young and with Jayden in recent years. He was a very hands-on uncle.
Sean was well loved and will be very much missed.
