Sally Seferovich was born in Kansas City, Missouri April 16, 1919 to Edgar and Clara Boyer. During the great depression and dust bowl of the 1930s she was privileged to attend college at L.S.U where she met her husband George of 64 years. Together they had four children Madeline (Sr. Bernarda OCist), Mark (Marirose), John (Marisa) and Amy. She had seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Sally was a wonderful wife, supporting moves, job changes and managing finances with her husband. She was forever sewing, cooking and volunteering her time. She volunteered to Cub Scouts, AARP Tax Preparation, the Majors House and the Junior Great Books Program. Her flower beds were filled with prize iris, peonies , roses and flowering shrubs.
Her faith was most important, converting to Catholicism because she saw such a fine example of a Christian man in her husband. She bore the indignities of old age with patience and grace. As she passed away her children witnessed her faith to the end.
Her intelligent, gentle and quiet nature was appreciated by the many people who crossed her path. She was loved and will be missed by all privileged to be part of her family.
