Jeffrey Wayne Foulds
October 20, 1966 – December 21, 2025
Jeffrey Wayne Foulds was born on October 20, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was an Eagle Scout and received a business degree from the University of Central Missouri.
His career followed his talents for anything involving motors. For more than 20 years he was the fleet manager for Signature Landscape of Olathe.
His hobbies and interests were varied and included a love of music and performing as guitarist and lead singer in the band, All About Lisa.
For many years, summers involved float trips with his extensive group of friends, attending car shows, participating in drag races and trips to Sturgis with his dad.
His buddies appreciated Jeff’s willingness to work on their cars and motorcycles with his invitation, “Bring it over and I’ll have a look. There’s beer in the fridge.”
Ever the optimist, Jeffrey was known for saying – no matter what the situation – “It’ll be fine,” with the word “fine” dragged out for several beats. And it usually was.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his mother Jane Foulds. He leaves his father, Jerry Foulds and stepmother, Katie Van Luchene; his sister Joell Pfeifer, brother-in-law David and nephew Reese of Thrall, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeffrey also leaves the love of his life of more than 20 years, Amy Baker. He was like a second father to Amy’s kids, Ryan Baker, Matthew Baker and Dr. Hailey Baker.
Amy was Jeffrey’s main care giver during the last several years as he dealt with Alzheimer’s. He died on December 21, 2025, from complications of the disease at home, surrounded by Amy, friends, family members and his beloved dog, Red.
The family donated Jeffrey’s tissues to KU Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center where he had received treatment.
A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held in the next few weeks with the band performing and friends sharing their favorite memories of this funny, brilliant and remarkable young man who left us far too soon.
Please feel free to leave your own memories of Jeffrey.
