Rosemary Ann Wolf died Wednesday, January 22, 2020. She was surrounded by her sons Marty and Dennis, daughter in law Michele Wolf and Pastor Chad Herring. Rosemary was born Rosemary Ann Mai in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, October 7, 1930 to parents Otto and Marie Mai. She had a brother Robert Mai and a sister Virginia (Masur) Mai. Shortly after graduating from high school in Milwaukee, Rosemary moved to Kansas City and attended the TWA Training Academy and began a short career as a TWA flight attendant. Rosemary met and soon married Jack Wolf of Boonville, Missouri on November 14, 1953. Rosemary and Jack had three sons, Dennis, Martin and Andrew, and a daughter Carolyn. Jack was transferred to Chicago, Illinois in 1958 where they lived there until 1966 when Jack was again transferred to Neodesha, Kansas. Rosemary attended the Independence Kansas Junior College for a short time when Jack was once again transferred back to Kansas City in 1969. Once settled in Kansas City, Rosemary began working for the Missouri Restaurant Association as a bookkeeper, before attending classes to obtain a Real Estate Agents license. Upon successful completion and testing for her license, Rosemary started a career with J. C. Nichols Company until Jack was transferred back to Chicago in 1980. Rosemary and Jack moved to Estes Park, Colorado after Jack retired from Amoco (BP) in 1986. Rosemary loved to camp and travel with her husband, having taken many camping trips out west with their 4 children and then traveling the United States, including Alaska, and Canada before Jack died in 1997. Rosemary continued to live in Estes Park until 2012 when wildfires burned her home and she moved to Overland Park, KS. Rosemary is survived by her three sons, Dennis (Michele) Wolf, Martin (Nancy) Wolf and Andrew Wolf, as well as 4 grandchildren Abby (Kevin) Krause, Jack (Lindsey) Wolf, Matthew and Laura Wolf and great granddaughter Brynley Krause. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack and her daughter Carolyn.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 25th at 2:00 PM at the John Knox Kirk Presbyterian Church located at 11430 Wornall Rd in Kansas City, MO.
