Rose M. Holder

Rose M. Holder, 82, passed away January 13, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Visitation will be held from 4:30-6:30pm Thursday, January 17th at Our Lady of the Presentation Church, 130 NW Murray Rd, Lees Summit, MO 64081 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 6:30 pm. Entombment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery on Friday. Memorial contributions may be given to Our Lady of the Presentation Church. Rose was born February 20, 1936 to Thomas and Charlotte McCarty and raised in Melrose, Iowa. She taught elementary school for over 25 years and was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Above all, Rose was a devoted wife and mother with a strong faith. Rose is survived by her husband, Robert Holder; children, Joe Holder and wife Carrie, Rev. Tom Holder, Cathy Miller and husband Mike, Mike Holder and wife Kalei; grandchildren, Scott, Maggie, Cameron, Madison and Colin; sisters, Kareen Heffron and husband Joe, Marge Flannigan and husband Bill; nieces and nephews.
