Raymond Shatto

Raymond Allen Shatto, 64, was blessed and entered heaven November 27, 2018. He passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer.
Ray was born on June 8, 1954 to Robert, Sr. and Edith Shatto in Kansas City, KS. He attended elementary school at St. Marys, and high school at Bishop Ward and Wyandotte High School. An electrician by trade, Ray worked his entire career at Sunshine Biscuit, which later became Kelloggs. For nearly 45 years, he kept those Cheez-It machines up and running. Ray loved his work and all who worked alongside him.
Ray was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his wife of 42 years, Diane; sons Jeffrey (Stevie) and Justin (Amy); a daughter, Nicole Kinney (Nicholas); grandchildren Matilda, Addison, Lucas and Jack; siblings Robert, Jr., Ronald, Richard, Regina, Timothy, David and Loretta.
Ray was a longtime member of St. Elizabeth Church on 75th and Main St in Kansas City, MO, where we will celebrate his life with a Memorial Mass and Reception on Saturday, December 15th at 11:00 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Raymond Allen Shatto Memorial Fund, which will be divided between the charities near and dear to the familys heart.
