Paul M. Santoro

May 28, 1965 — December 8, 2017

Paul M. Santoro, 52, of Parkville, Missouri, passed away on December 8th, 2017. A celebration- of-life will be held at Muehlebach Funeral Home, followed by interment at Calvary Cemetery.Paul was born in Verdun, France while his father was stationed there and grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended St. Elizabeth Elementary School and Rockhurst High School. He received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing at the University of Missouri - Kansas City. He was a hard-working entrepreneur, and started his own ad specialty business at the age of 24 with his wife Staci. This company, Executive Marketing Promotions, grew and transformed into the screen printing and embroidery business it is today. Pauls greatest joys in life were family, coaching, and volunteering. Naturally athletic, his father said he could hit a hole in one with a stick. While this might be an exaggeration, he enjoyed golf as well as his first love, basketball. He coached basketball his entire life, both for his children and as a volunteer. Although this was his favorite sport, he stepped into multiple coaching roles when the need arose, and cherished the experience. He strongly believed that every child should have the opportunity to be part of a team. Paul channeled his creative side into writing stories for his childrens birthday parties, classroom parties and reading days. One charming childrens book, titled "Oh For Petes Sake," was even made into a screenplay. He loved cooking and entertaining, so there were always extra seats around the kitchen table and friends were always treated as family.Paul is preceded in death by his father, Nicholas J. Santoro. He is survived by Staci Santoro and their three children; Austin (wife Kyle), Tyler (wife Amanda), and Shelby; his mother Nancy Santoro; and two brothers; Ralph (fiancee Bonnie) and Mark; as well as a wonderful extended family. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate your consideration in donating to the bright futures fund www.brightfuturesfund.org
