Patrick B. Murphy

Pat Murphy, 86, of Raytown, MO passed away May 23, 2025, surrounded by his family, music and love. Visitation will be at 11:30 a.m. followed a by Prayer Service at 1:00 p.m. at St. John Francis Regis Church, 8942 James A. Reed Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138. Inurnment will be private. Memorial contributions may be given to Operation Breakthrough, a charity Pat always supported.

Pat was a loving son, husband, father, grandparent and great-grandfather. He selflessly devoted his life to those he loved. His support, wit and knowledge will be missed by all those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Downey Murphy and sister, Sharon Lee Brim. He is survived by his sister Peggy Murphy and three children, daughter, Maureen (Bob); son, Sean Murphy and daughter, Anne Roberts. Pat doted on his four grandchildren, Will Fraundorfer, Michaela Fraundorfer, Mary Bird (Dustin), and Sarah Simmons (Zackery); and two great grand-children, Ricky and Reagan Bird. Also surviving Pat is a dear sister-in-law, Loretta Ross, and many loved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank his caregivers of the past several years for providing compassionate care in his final days.
