Bartholome, sisters Virginia Rohan and Anne Bartholome, brother William G. Bartholome, aunt Sr. Virginia Bartholome, niece Monica Liston Rutherford, and sister-in-law Marita Bartholome, and brothers-in-law William Rohan Sr., Thomas M. Liston and Frank Hasibar.
Her family still on this earth include her older sisters Joan Liston and Grace Hasibar, younger sisters Catherine Bartholome and Helen Doval, and younger brothers Louis, Peter, Paul and David Bartholome; nieces and nephews Ginna Hall, Bill Rohan Jr and Chris Rohan; Peter, Michael and Andrew Liston; Joan, Leah and Joseph Hasibar; Bridget, Sheila and Claire Bartholome; Anna Johnson and William Bartholome; Jeremy Morris; Abram Doval, Justin Doval, Nora Siwarski, Grace Malecha and Pete Doval; Frank Hinnenkamp; Rachel, Tina, Jackie, Katie and Justin Bartholome; Jessie Whittley and Yoli Bartholome; and great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Patricia was born on March 18, 1946, in Helena, Montana, the fifth of twelve siblings. The family moved to Kansas City when she was two and she made it her life-long home.
Patricia lived a life of service to others in her career as head of the work release program at the Jackson County jail, at Catholic Charities, at Children’s Mercy Hospital and at the KC Housing Authority. Service was the core of her daily existence. Patty knew how to ‘literally pull greatness out of others’, to quote a close friend, with kindness, steadiness and a deep belief in one’s core worth.
She was a Renaissance woman, an artist, musician, patron and lover of the arts, and an avid reader. She was a joyful woman and invited others to join her in celebrating life.
Visitation will he held on Saturday, February 28th at 6pm at Muehlebach Funeral Home on 6800 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri with a Memorial Service at 7pm.
Memorial offerings may be made in Patricia’s name to Operation Breakthrough of Kansas City or the Midwest Innocence Project in lieu of flowers.
