Nancy Marie Leggio

Nancy Marie Leggio, 57, of Kansas City, MO passed away February 1, 2020. A rosary will be prayed on Thursday, February 6 at 5:30 pm followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 6 pm at St. Therese Parish, 7207 NW Hwy 9, Kansas City, MO 64152. Visitation will follow at Gashland Methodist Church, 7715 North Oak Tfwy. Burial will be at Floral Hills Cemetery, KCMO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, 7285 W 132nd St, Overland Park, KS 66213.
Nancy was born February 15, 1962 in Kansas City, MO to Vincent and Barbara Leggio. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bob Leggio. She is survived by her daughter, Veronica, sons, Justin and Vince, brothers, Mike and John, sisters, Lisa and Lindsey, and four grandchildren.
Nancy grew up in Gracemore with her family and was part of her neighborhood swim team. She also participated in the dance community for several years. As an adult she was a bookkeeper for her family business Leggios Produce before moving into the service industry. She was a very social person who liked meeting new people and making new friends. She also loved her family time and was very proud to be a Nani! In her spare time, she found joy in drawing and crafting new projects. One of her many original designs were beaded bracelets that incorporated medical ID charms. She loved dressing up and looking her best. You could always find her with new jewelry and colorful lipstick. She was one of a kind and will be missed by many.
