Mildred L. Chaplin

Raytown, Missouri

Mildred L. Chaplin, 98, went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2023.  Visitation will be held on Friday, December 1 from 10 a.m. to Noon at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost Ave., KCMO 64131.  Graveside following at Floral Hills Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., KCMO 64133.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Bill, her brothers Tommy Edwin, and her sister Mary.  She is survived by James Wyatt, Elaine Wyatt, Thelma Wyatt and numerous nieces and nephews.  Mildred retired from the government after working as a Cartographer.  She was an avid fisherwoman, belonged to Missouri Trout Association and became their president at one time.  After her husband passed, she started a new chapter by traveling the world with her cousin.  She loved to camp, fish and travel.  Mildred was the kindest, wisest, most gentle soul.  She loved her family, friends, and neighbors.  They meant everything to her.  She was always there for them.  She loved her Chiefs especially Lenny Dawson.  Rest In Peace.
