Michelle Lynn Graff, age 58, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on January 9, 2026.

Born in North Tonawanda, New York, Michelle was the daughter of Robert L. Graff and Shirley B. (Shick) Graff, both deceased. She is survived by her sisters Robin (Rick) Graff-Reed and Terri Graff Williams, and by her brothers Bryan Graff and Kevin (Corinne) Graff. Michelle was a devoted and loving aunt to her nieces Rachel Porter and Brittany Graff, and to her nephews Eric Wiete, Kyle (Aubrey) Wiete, David (Arlynn) Williams, and James Graff. She is also survived by cherished grand-nieces and grand-nephews, as well as many cousins who held a special place in her life.

Michelle graduated from Niagara-Wheatfield High School in 1985 and attended Avila University and University of Kansas in Lawrence, after which she enthusiastically made Kansas City her permanent home.

Michelle will be remembered for her selflessness, her tireless work ethic, her sharp mind, and her deep compassion for others. She dedicated her life to serving the greater good through nonprofit and volunteer work, always striving to make the world kinder and more equitable. Along the way, she built a remarkable network of lifelong friends from all walks of life — people drawn to her generosity, humor, and unwavering loyalty.

A proud and enthusiastic sports fan, Michelle was a loyal season-ticket holder of the Kansas City Royals, but never stopped cheering for her beloved Buffalo Bills. Her joy in the highs and lows of her teams was infectious, and she loved sharing that passion with the people around her.

Michelle’s legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her service, her friendship, and her love for her family.
