Michael Karim Samani, 66, passed away December 7, 2021. Michael was born January 27, 1955 in Ahvaz, Iran, the oldest of 7 children of Ali and Sahabjan Samani. He received his Bachelors degree from West Virginia Institute of Technology leading to a distinguished career as a civil engineer in Iran. Michael moved with his family to Kansas City in the summer of 1995. His latter years of life were spent in a cherished career in the trucking industry which he shared in common with his late father who was close to his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Mohamad Samani and Mirza Samani, his sister, Parveen Samani and his dear friend Ciamak Noorbakhsh whom he considered a brother.
He is survived by his son Tommel Samani (Marlee Bailey) and his daughter, Tyse Samani (Anthony Marshall) and his beloved family in Iran: his sisters; Parvaneh Samani, Roya Samani and Parivash Berimavandi (Nozar Berimavandi) and his nephew Mohamad Berimavandi and niece, Rozhin Shamloo (Soheil Shamloo).
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, December 13th at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO followed by funeral services at 11:00 am. After conclusion of funeral services burial will be at Brooking Cemetery.
After burial services, all are welcomed to join the family for gathering and refreshments in the continued remembrance of our beloved Michael at 6001 NW 63rd Street, Kansas City, MO 64151.
