Mary Patricia 'Tricia' Mcneive

Mary Patricia (Tricia) Hense McNeive, 57, passed away in the early morning of May 15, 2017 following a brief illness. Tricia was born September 12, 1959 in Kansas City, MO to John "Jack" and Mary Ann Hense. She graduated from Shawnee Mission South, attended University of Kansas where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi. Tricia worked as a flight attendant for 27 years, first with Northwest Airlines. During her time with Northwest Airlines Tricia was involved in transporting troops in and out of Dessert Storm for which she received an accommodation. Tricia later flew for Delta Airlines where she was employed at her time of passing. She was an active member of St. Peters Catholic Church and most of all Tricia loved "serving others". Tricia married James McNeive on December 7, 2002. She is survived by her husband James McNeive; her parents, John "Jack" and Mary Ann Hense; siblings, Marcia Shaffer and husband Jeff, Jeanine Maloney and husband Mike, Karen Goeheusen and husband Paul, John Hense, Jr. and wife Jennifer and Robert Hense and wife Pam; 14 nephews, 5 nieces, 4 grandnephews, 5 grandnieces; her faithful dogs, Blondie and Reagen
The rosary will be prayed at 5:30 pm Thursday, May 25th at St. Peters Catholic Church 701 E. Meyer Blvd, Kansas City, MO followed by visitation until 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am Friday at St. Peters Church. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Peters Catholic Church.
