Mary Helen Williams

Mary Helen Williams (Lenge), 88, passed away on May 13, 2017.
Mary Helen was born March 2, 1929, at Saint Vincent's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. She was the only child of Rocco Edwin Lenge and Ellen Sullivan Lenge.
She attended KCMO public schools, graduating from Central High School. Mary Helen lived her entire life in Kansas City and was especially proud of living in her Brookside home for more than 50 years. She retired from the KC MO school district.
Mary Helen married Chuck Williams in 1959. He preceded her in death. Mary Helen is survived by her children, Curt Williams and wife Lisa, Kent Williams and wife Maryalice, Ron Williams and wife Cindy and Sondra Kay Hall and husband John. She was the world's greatest grandmother "Meme" to Chris and Mike Hall and Kelly Pabis, Brian and Sarah Williams, Nick and Zack Williams and George and Pete Williams and great grandchildren, Carlin and Layla Pabis.
A devout Catholic, she was an active member of Saint Peter's parish, Ladies of Charity as well as the Rockhurst High School Mother's Club.
She was a loyal friend who just loved to visit.
Mary Helen has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Saint Peter's Catholic Church or Seton Center Food Pantry. The rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am Thursday, May 18th at St. Peters Church, 701 E. Meyer, Kansas City, MO followed by visitation and Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment will be at Mt. Moriah.
