Mary Christine Stanton

Mary Christine Stanton, 67, of Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2021. A private memorial service will be held on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Muehlebach Funeral Care. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Mary was born on August 12, 1953 in Kansas City Missouri to Eugene H VandenBoom, Jr. and Mary Kay (Purcell) VandenBoom. Mary graduated from Hogan High School in 1971. She later met and married Marcus Stanton on April 23, 2002. Mary spent her life working in various capacities. She was most proud of her work as a legal secretary.

Mary was a member of Redemptorist Church and loved reading her Bible. She was devoted to her Lord and Savior. She prayed the Rosary each and every day as this was important to Mary that she do so. She also enjoyed thrift shopping and eating at Chubby's.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Henry VandenBoom,Jr. She is survived by husband, Mark Stanton; her mother, Mary Kay VandenBoom; brothers, Gene VandenBoom (Kathleen), Frank VandenBoom, Jim VandenBoom; niece, Theresa Helms(Jesse);nephew Joseph VandenBoom; Great-nephews, Elias Helms, Jonas Helms, and Ary VandenBoom; great-niece, Maeve Helms; sisters-in-law, Vickie Stanton, LorettaStanton, Cindy Stanton: brother-in-law, Rodney Stanton.
