Marvin H. Lackamp

Marvin H. Lackamp, 86, passed away October 14, 2021 at his home south of Grain Valley, Mo. Marvin was born in Kansas City on January 21, 1935 to the late Bernard and Matilda (Barring haus) Lackamp, Sr. He was preceded in death by his four brothers; Bernard J. Lackamp, Jr., Donald A. Lackamp, Rev. Franklin James Lackamp, Charles R. Lackamp; sisters-in-law, Marie Francine, Jo Anne, and Carol Meyer; niece Amber Meyer-Lackamp; great niece Amy Christin Lackamp.
Marvin attended St. Louis Grade School and Bishop Hogan High School in Kansas City. He was a Lithographer for Midland Lithographing Co. for 43 years. Marvin was a member of St. John La Lande Catholic Church in Blue Springs and a member of Kansas City Radio Control Airplane Association. In retirement he loved flying radio controlled airplanes; taking care of his farm as well as hosting many family get- togethers over the years. He was a caregiver for the family and person with a passion for detail and quality.
Survivors include his sister, Theresa (Anthony) Padovano of Morris Plains, N. J.; brother, Larry Lackamp of Bates City and many nieces and nephews. Family requests any Memorials to St. John La Lande Catholic Church or to your favorite charity.
