Martin J. Brown

Martin (Marty) J Brown was born in KCMO on January 24, 1953 to Angela Walsh Brown and Louis R Brown.  He unexpectedly passed away on March 7, 2024, at St Luke's South. He worked at Harrah's Casino for 20+ years prior to Covid, retiring in 2020.  He leaves behind his wife of almost 50 years, Susan, as well as his two devoted daughters, Lindsay Heyer and Melissa Brown.  He also leaves his two favorite (and only) grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Heyer and Nicholas Andrew Heyer, as well as his beloved dogs, Bentley, Bella, and Sophie, who miss him letting them in and out 40 times a day. He provided us with amazingly memorable vacations. He always shared his wonderful sense of humor with everyone. He made a difference in our lives every day. His passing has left us heartbroken, and he will be missed every day for the rest of our lives.
