Marjorie L. Pettit, age 97 of Independence, Missouri, passed away on January 30th, 2022. Marjorie wasborn on November 13, 1924 in Holly Springs, Iowa to George and Susan Becker.Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Mary Alice Teague of San Diego, CA, her son-in-law, Mark Bochand his wife Rhonda of El Dorado Springs, MO, her grandchildren Heather Surbrugg and her husbandKenneth of Joplin, MO, Matt Boch and his wife Johnna of El Dorado Springs, MO, Tanya Teague ofHenderson, NV, and her great grandchildren Abigail, Ian, Gabby, and Gavin.She was proceeded in death by her parents and siblings, her husband Carl Pettit, her daughter CarolBoch, her son-in-law Jack Teague, and her granddaughter Jacqui Teague.Marjorie worked for Sealtest Dairy, Sears Roebuck & Co, and everyones favorite, the IRS before retiring.Marjorie enjoyed her time with friends, traveling, and playing cards. She was a member of theSycamore Hills Baptist Church. A graveside service for Marjorie will be held on Monday, February 7th at11 am at the Mount Moriah Cemetery.
