Norma Lee had a keen mind, a free spirit and nimble wit. Even at 94 years, keeping up with the political antics of our times was an amusing pastime.
Born July7, 1926, Norma chose to live life on her own terms. Her mother was a dedicated member of the President Hotel food service and her father was a long time Kansas City restaurant owner. Brother Don owned the Savoy Hotel and Grill for many years.
The only girl in a family of 5, Norma studied at the Art Institute of Chicago upon graduating she traveled to Europe to continue her interest in fine arts. She was employed as an accomplished legal secretary for many years. Norma appreciated classical music, literature, fine food and especially family holiday gatherings.
In her senior years Norma was blessed with the hospitality and friendship of Dorothea Phillips, who shared the comforts of her home.
She is survived by her brothers Don Lee (Kansas City) and John Lee (Houston, Texas) and multiple extended family members.
