Margaret "Mickey" Henry

Mickey Henry, 90, of Kansas City, MO passed away October 27, 2025, at Warrensburg Manor Health Care Center, Warrensburg, MO. She was born March 1, 1935, in Kansas City, MO to John and Elizabeth McLeese. She passed after spending an evening with her children by her side visiting and watching her beloved Chiefs win.

On August 7, 1954, in Kansas City, MO, she married Robert “Bob” Henry. Mickey and Bob were active members of St. Catherine’s of Sienna Parish for over 60 years. They enjoyed camping and traveling with the children. She enjoyed her daily conversations with her sister, Mary Anne. Through the years she enjoyed playing pinochle and getting together for Chiefs games with her friends. Mickey especially enjoyed supporting her children's activities in the Girl Scouts, Indian Guides, Boy Scouts, numerous different sporting and extracurricular school events, and religious activities with the church.

Mickey is survived by her daughters, Sue (Tim) Dugan, Beth (Les) McDaniel, Nancy (Tom – deceased) Baker, and sons, Larry (Robin) Henry, Dr. Robert (Barbara) Henry, 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren. Mickey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, her oldest son John, her granddaughter Dacia McDaniel, and her sister Mary Anne Mulligan.

All services will be held on Wednesday, November 5th at St. Thomas More Parish, 11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO 64131. Visitation will begin at 9:30am, with Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10:30am. Burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO. A reception will follow at The Madison Senior Living at 14001 Madison Avenue, Kansas City, MO 64145.
