Linda Lee Hansen

Linda Lee Hansen, 71, of Louisburg, KS, passed away peacefully June 29, 2019. The visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Thursday, July 11th (rosary will be prayed at 7:30 pm) at Muehlebach Funeral Care. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be on Friday, July 12th at 1pm at Redemptorist Church 3333 Broadway Blvd Kansas City, MO 64111 and a reception will immediately follow the Mass back at Muehlebach Funeral Care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Hospice House 12000 Wornall Rd Kansas City, MO 64145.
Linda was born the third of five children on January 2, 1948, in Wilets, CA and on April 15, 1967 she married William E. Hansen who survives her. She graduated from Redemptorist High School in 1966 and worked for H&R Block 45 years before retiring in 2019. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James D. and Verna M. (Bost) Robinson, her biological father, Harold H. Todd, her sister, Verna Kathryn (Todd) Sanders and her brother-in-law, Ronald L. Kump. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Hansen Jost and her husband, Timothy J. Jost of Raymore, MO. She is also survived by her son, William Michael Hansen and his wife, Janelle C. (Knowles) Hansen of Lees Summit, MO. She leave 4 grandchildren; Lauren Lee Hansen, Joel Ryan Hansen, Katelyn Noelle Hansen and Austin James Kendrick. Linda is also survived by her brother, H. William Todd, her sister, Judith A. (Todd) Kump, her brother, Bennie R. Todd as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Linda loved her big family and they loved her.
Linda was a Wife, Mother, Nana, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend to oh so many. She was analytically minded, a problem solver, a Kansas City Chiefs and Royals Fan, Elvis Lover and she enjoyed potatoes (baked, mashed, boiled, roasted, as a soup, as French fries, as a salad, as a chip, russet potatoes, Yukon gold potatoes, red potatoes, fingerling potatoes, etc). A lifelong Catholic, Linda lived her faith through the ways she treated others. Linda was kind, generous, compassionate, fun and funny and will be greatly missed by many.
