Linda J. Boutwell

Linda Joyce Boutwell, 75, a longtime Raytown, MO resident, passed peacefully on January 12th, surrounded by family. Visitation will be held at 11:30am with services to follow at 12:30pm, on Thursday January 20th at Spring Valley Baptist Church, Raytown. Burial services will follow in Forest Hills and Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City at 2:00pm.
Linda was born August 24th, 1946, in Kansas City, MO, the eldest child of two daughters of Otis Faubus and Lois (Lewis) Faubus. Linda grew up in Kansas City, MO, she enjoyed a fulfilling career of over 40 year within St. Lukes Health Systems. Linda found great joy in spending time with her family, including a yearly trip to Panama City Beach, Florida. Linda was passionate about her faith. She was a frequent smiling face found every Sunday at Spring Valley Baptist Church. Linda was passionate about creating quilts and handmade gifts for those around her. Linda was a true philanthropist who found joy in helping others. Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Lindas generous heart and joyful spirit will be sincerely missed.
Survivors include her daughter, Angie Flora Waterman and spouse Mike Waterman; sister, Claudia King and spouse Chuck Durdel; grandchildren, Dylan Flora, Dakota Flora and spouse Natalie Flora; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
