Linda Hackl, 69, of Kansas City, MO passed away April 1, 2024, As per Linda's wish there will be no memorial or funeral services.
Linda was born August 18, 1954, the daughter of Cotis and Mary Maggie-Lee Wilkins, in Topeka, KS where she attended primary and middle school. She attended High school in Kansas City at Central High where she graduated. After high school Linda returned to Topeka where she was employed as a disability caregiver at Kansas Neurological Institute. She later returned to Kansas City where she worked as a hotel receptionist and met her husband William "Bill" Hackl. Linda was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and Royals along with the KU Jayhawks. Linda loved playing softball until a shoulder injury prevented her from pitching.
She was preceded in death by her husband William Hackl, son Michael D. Wilkins, parents Cotis and Mary M. Wilkins, and 2 brothers, Claude William Johnson and Gary Allen Wilkins. She is survived by her companion of more than 10yrs, Robin "Bear" Rodgers; brother, James Johnson; sister, Brenda Redmom; brothers, Irvin, Irwin, and Clinton Wilkins; stepbrothers, David Russel and Mark Williams; stepsisters, Pam Williams, Charlotte Hill-Jackson, and Gail Bynum.
