Linda V. Adams, born on May 22, 1949, embarked on her final journey on May 23, 2024, in Long Beach, California. A compassionate soul with a heart full of kindness and love, Linda's presence brightened the lives of all who had the honor of knowing her.

Linda's story began in Long Beach, California, where she was raised by her loving parents, Vernon and Mildred Mcvade. Alongside her parents stood her younger brother Michael Mcvade, who now awaits her in the afterlife Linda's formative years were shaped by love and family values that she carried with her throughout her life's journey.

A bright student, Linda graduated from Jordan High School in 1967 before pursuing a nursing degree in the late '70s. Her dedication to care and healing led her to a fulfilling career managing Lenscrafter and later an ophthalmic doctor's office in Van Nuys, California. It was during this time that Linda found love in James Adams, whom she married on May 30, 1992, in Los Angeles.

In 1995, Linda and James planted new roots in Kansas City, Missouri, where Linda devoted herself to patient management at Hunkler Eye Center and Samuel U Rodgers. Their union was blessed with the greatest joy of their lives - their daughter Jamela C. Adams - born in June 1997.

Linda leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion that will forever live on through those she cherished. She is survived by her beloved husband James Adams, their daughter Jamela Adams, supportive sister Arlene Rose, and a multitude of friends who were touched by Linda's kindness and warmth.

As we mourn the physical loss of Linda V. Adams, let us take solace in the memories shared and the lives she impacted with her unwavering love. May her spirit soar high above us all as we bid farewell to a remarkable woman whose light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.

The visitation service to honor Linda's memory will be held at Muehlebach Funeral Care at 6800 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri on June 20th, 2024. The visitation will begin at 11:30 AM and conclude at 1:00 PM as we gather to celebrate a life well-lived.

Rest peacefully now, dear Linda V. Adams. Your memory will forever remain etched in our hearts as we carry your legacy forward with love and gratitude.
