Lillian was born to M. Anthony Rodier and Kathryn Greer Rodier of Kansas City on August 10th 1923.
Lillian graduated from Central High School and then from the Kansas City Art Institute. She was a very talented artist and musician who was commissioned to illustrate the Russell Stovers Christmas candy for President Harry S. Truman. She left the art world to marry Julius J. Kupersmith and start a family once he returned from WWII combat with the US Air Force. After which, they resided at Lake Weatherby and enjoyed family and friends for many years. Strangers become fast friends to the Kupersmiths during their years at the lake, since Lillian was a gracious hostess and always up to having fun.
She is joining her family in heaven; husband Julius (Kupe) Kupersmith; son Edward Kupersmith; daughters Anita and Denise Kupersmith; and niece Carroll Kupersmith Strong. Lillians remaining relatives are cousin Joseph Rodier and family; niece Linda and Michael Kelly; nephew Bob and Karen Kupersmith; and niece Joyce and Carl Hader.
