Lawrence V. Muehlebach, 96, passed away July 15, 2018. Visitation will be held from 9:15-10:30am Saturday, July 21st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5501 Monticello, Shawnee, KS. The rosary will be prayed at 10:30am followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Private interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Friendship Feast of Dodge City, 803 Central St, Dodge City, KS 67801 or The Little Sisters of the Poor, 8745 James A. Reed Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138.
Lawrence was born October 10, 1921 in Kansas City, MO to William D. and Willa Muehlebach. Following high school Lawrence served in the US Army. Lawrence was Vice President of Chemseco.
He was a longtime member of Hillcrest Country Club with a hole in one on #7. Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife, Jane; son, Jim; two brothers and a sister. He is survived by his children, Lawrence D. (Abby), Thomas F. (Rosie), Mary Jane Muehlebach (Todd), Amy McFadden (Rick), Christine Salerno (Jim); Ten Grandchildren: Danielle Wolfe (Jeff), Aaron Muehlebach (Tammy), Matthew Muehlebach (Julie), Molly Ryne (Chris), Nicole Doherty, Beth Hintz (Eric), Kelley Morgan (Jason), Katie Brown, Maureen Wiebe (Ryan), Sabrina Salerno. Twenty-one Great Grand Children: Jake & Liam Wolfe; Courtney, Kayla & Adam Muehlebach; Megan & Caroline Muehlebach; Addi, Bailey & Cooper Ryne; Hannah & Kennedy Doherty; Cade & Sierra Hintz; Brady & Leah Morgan; Emma Lewis; Kellan, Oliver, Tommy & Rosalie Wiebe.
