Kathleen P. Alivernia

Kathleen P. Alivernia, 80, passed away October 16, 2021. Visitation will be 10-11a.m. Thursday, October 28th at Coronation of Our Lady Church, 13000 Bennington Ave., Grandview, Missouri, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11a.m. Interment will be at Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie, Kansas.
Kathleen was born January 26, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri to Samuel and Grace (McMahon) Alivernia. Kathy attended Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri and received a degree in teaching. Kathy spent 25 years serving our Lord as a nun with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Later she worked as a secretary for Cartwright Freight Forwarding in Grandview, Missouri.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Samuel and Grace (McMahon) Alivernia, sister Rosemary Alivernia Bergmann and brother Michael Alivernia. Survivors include longtime dear friend LaReita Boyer, brother and sister-in-law William and Rita Alivernia, Chesterfield, Missouri and many nieces and nephews. Kathy was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
