Joyce E. Pinkepank, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026, where she was living.

Joyce was born on November 1, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Elmer and Paula Pinkepank. She attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Grade School and Concordia High School before moving to Blue Springs, where she completed her senior year in 1961.

After graduating from high school, Joyce worked for Skelly Oil Company, IBM, where she retired, and later NAIC, and Children’s Mercy Hospital. She was a gifted and organized data processor and was a true asset to the companies where she worked.

Joyce was a longtime, faithful member of Ascension Lutheran Church in Kansas City and loved being a part of her church community. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and dependable presence in the lives of everyone she met. There was nothing she wouldn’t do for a friend or family member in need.

Joyce is survived by her sister, Joan (Tom) Reagan; niece, nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews; and many friends.

The family is grateful to the many people who cared for Joyce, especially during the last few months.

There will be a visitation at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church in Kansas City.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ascension Lutheran Church.
