John Vogel, Jr

John J. Vogel Jr. passed away suddenly at Lake Regional Hospital on December 14, 2018 at the age of 84. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21 from 12 - 1 p.m., with the service following at 1 p.m. at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave., KCMO. Interment will be at Green Lawn Cemtery. John was born on April 7, 1934 in Kansas City, MO to John J. and Hildred Vogel. He was the oldest of 7 children. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Geral Deane and 6 children; Clayton Vogel (Denise), JoAnn Wilson, Debra Lee (Charles), John J. Vogel III, Jaylene Wallace, and Catrenia Appling. He also leaves 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. John was in the Navy Reserve for 8 years and retired from ATT after 30 years in Lees Summit.
