Janenne Elton

Janenne Elton, 73, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on May 7, 2021. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Janennes Life will be held at a later date. Janennes love of life, family, and friends will not end with her passing. She had to leave us on May 7, 2021 after a brave and dignified struggle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her father, Star Ennis Elton, Sr, and her Mother Mary Annette (Davis) Elton. Janenne spent most of her life in Kansas City, MO, also living in Carmel, CA, Santa Fe, NM, and Hilo, HI. She graduated from Southwest High School, worked for TWA as well as the Hospitality industry. Her most enjoyable career was Real Estate. Janenne filled her life with humor and a warm genuine spirit but could confront adversity head on. She was loving, caring, and sharing with others, often putting their concerns ahead of her own. Her positive outlook gave confidence to those who needed it. Janenne was the ultimate animal whisperer, especially with dogs, cats, and horses. She was usually healing, taming, and saving the forgotten ones. Many of her personal stories have created good memories. Never second in her concerns was the childrens cancer hospital which she privately supported. Janenne is survived by her brother, Star Ennis Elton, Jr., sister Suellen Elton Blond, her nieces, nephews, and extended family, as well as her funny little dog, Pork Chop.
