James E. Budde, 81, passed away July 12, 2021. James was born July 18, 1939 in Cincinnati, OH to Erwin G. and Marcella Budde. Jim graduated from Elder Highschool (1957), he received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (1962), a Master of Art in Political Science (1966) from the University of Cincinnati. Jim received his Master of Liberal Arts in History from Baker University (1989). Jim was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Sylvia Rovito; a brother, Erwin "Sonny" Budde. Survivors include his wife, Judith L. Budde; daughters, Jean Marie Dawson husband Len, Julie Anne Bolton and husband Kevin; Jana Lynne Lang and husband Mike; three granddaughters Kimberly Jennafer, Alyssa; sisters, Barbara DAngelo and Diane Murray.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 am Friday, July 16th at St. Thomas More Church, 11822 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Life Issues Institute, PO Box 785, Florence, KY 41022 or Vitae Caring Foundation, 1731 Southridge Dr., Suite D, Jefferson City, MO 65102
