Mrs. Ida Mae (Palmer) Cummins Jaques, age 100, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away Sunday evening, September 1, 2019, after battling a competitive salsa dancing accident.
She was born December 7, 1918, in Creighton, Missouri, a daughter of late Edgar & Rosa (Grosshart) Palmer.
Ida was preceded in death by her husbands, Everett Dean Cummins, & Charles "Chuck" Jaques; son Michael Dean Cummins; two sisters, Vivian Palmer, Margaret Palmer-Wilson; two brothers, Glen Palmer, Clyde Palmer; countless extended family members; loving friends.
Ida is survived by granddaughter, Mikki (Jeff) Penland; great-granddaughters, Ashley (Glen Smith) Curttright, Ashlyn Penland, Lauryn Penland; great- great granddaughter Charlee Michelle Smith; adored cat Enie; extended family & friends that will sadly miss her sass & spunk.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 14th at Muehlebach Funeral Chapel, 6800 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO 64131, 12pm-1pm.
A graveside prayer service will immediately follow at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, Missouri 64701.
