Henry Richard Harken

Henry Richard Harken passed peacefully in his parents arms on August 13, 2021. He was born on August 11, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center near the familys home in Dayton, Ohio. Henry made his entrance into Heaven just 2 days after birth, surrounded by his loving family. He was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew and now a guardian angel.
Henry is survived and celebrated by his parents Seth and Katelyn (Wessling) Harken, sister Everleigh, maternal grandparents Vincent & Rose Wessling of Kansas City, MO, and paternal grandfather Richard Harken of Huber Heights, OH. Henry was predeceased by his loving Nana, Sheryl Harken, who undoubtedly greeted him with open arms and is rocking him now in Heaven. Henry was so dearly loved by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is proof that even though death has come too soon, all lives have a purpose and an impact. Henry gave a lifetime of love during his time on Earth. He was able to hold hands with his mommy and daddy, receive hugs and kisses, listen as his parents prayed with him and read him books, and they told their little angel "I love you" an immeasurable amount of times. While our hearts are broken at the loss of our precious Henry, we have faith and find peace in knowing that he is with Jesus and that we will one day be reunited and home for eternity with our baby boy.

A private Celebration of Life will be held in Kansas City, MO at a later date. A fund has been set up by the families of Seth and Katelyn to help cover the cost of medical bills and future plans to honor Henrys legacy.
