Helen Mangiarcina

Helen L. Mangiarcina, 90, Kansas City, MO, passed away peacefully at home on January 31, 2021. Private family services will be held at Platte Woods United Methodist Church at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 5, 2021. Interment will follow at White Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Interim Hospice in Helens name.
Helen was born in Seymour, MO to David and Demer (Todd) Claxton. Helen loved gardening and was on a bowling team in Gladstone, years ago. She enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, shopping and going out to eat. Helen helped her husband Joe out at the grocery store they owned.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Barbara Mayer of Kansas City, MO; two grandchildren, Alicia Munch and Thomas Boyd and six great-grandchildren, Sophia Munch, Austin Munch, Kinsley, Kadence, Kamryn, and Krysten Boyd.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joe; her brothers Daris Claxton, Burvil Claxton, Virgil Claxton; and sister Lucille Schneider.
