Geraldyne Carr, 89, passed away December 1, 2021. Geraldyne was born October 23, 1932 in Tacoma, WA. She moved to Kansas City in 1949 and began her career as a telephone operator shortly after. After raising her children, she became an avid traveler and visited every continent. Affectionately known as Jerry by her loved ones, Jerry spent her free time helping those in need and making sure that her family was happy, healthy, and taken care of. Her infectious laughter and kind loving heart will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Clifford Smith, her husband, Gil Carr and her brother, Gene Smith. She is survived by her children, Bill Knight, Danette Quisenberry, Darcie Star; grandchildren, Toni Knight, Christopher Knight and Sydney McWilliams; great-grandchildren, and her sister, Judi Sortore. Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Monday December the 20th at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave, Kansas City, MO.
