George R. Taylor

George R. Taylor, 100 years old, passed away at his home in Granite City, IL, on October 15, 2018, with his family by his side. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, October 21st at New Life Assembly Church, 2730 Buxton Ave., Granite City, IL. Funeral Service in Kansas City will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 22nd at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Ave., Kansas City, MO 64131. Following the service, the burial will take place across the street at Forest Hill Cemetery. George was born on July 3, 1918, in Rockford, IL, to his parents, Raymond and Adalaide (Keeler) Taylor. He is survived by his family: daughters, Kathy Bunker, Jamie Patterson and husband Stanley, Carmen Deckert; grandchildren, Travis Nai, Virginnia Dryver, Carolyn Wentworth, Lauren Deckert, Matthew Whitten, Vanna Patterson, Chris Patterson; great grandchildren, Perryce Doyle, and David and DaVencci Dryver, Dezyha Curry, KyMani Mosbey, Brianna and Brooklyn Carrol and Zaniyah and Zayier Deckert; as well as many beloved family members and friends of Granite City, IL, and Kansas City, MO.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made me made to Good Samaritan House, 1825 Delmar Ave., Granite City, IL 62040, in Grandpa Georges name.
