Frank L. Victor, 81, of Kansas City, MO, passed on March 22, 2018 at Bishop Spencer Place in Kansas City. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 6th at St. Pauls Episcopal Church, 11 E. 40th St., KCMO 64111. Frank was born on August 9, 1936 in Lindstrom, MN to Arvid T. Victor and Mabel (Palmquist) Victor. He was one of two children, having one sister; Buena May. Frank spent his youth in Minnesota, attending Chisago Lakes High School and graduating from the University of Minnesota in 1958. It was there he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega (ATO) Fraternity of which he was President, along with Board membership on the Interfraternity Council (IFC). Frank went on to receive his MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed the graduate school of banking at the University of Wisconsin. Franks many academic achievements led him to a successful career. He began at Grand Avenue Bank in Kansas City, later City Bank. He was President of Kansas City Bank and Trust and later owner and president of Norbank. Frank was involved in many different organizations and served on many Boards, including the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce, KC Club Board, March of Dimes, Jackson County Sports Authority, Breakfast Club of North Kansas City, Northland Chamber of Commerce, and the North Kansas City Business Council. Frank married Kathleen Cranston and they spent 26 happily married years until her passing in 1997. Together, Frank and Kathleen raised three children; Paul, Anne, and Laura. Aside from his successful business career, Frank enjoyed the outdoors; a passion he and Kathleen sharedboth of being a sportsman and conservationist. Frank also achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and was involved with The Boy Scouts throughout his life.He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and daughter; Laura Victor. Frank is survived by his son, Paul Victor; daughter, Anne Lopez (Joe); grandchildren, Kasaundra Victor, Ethan Lopez, Allison Lopez, Joshua Lopez, and Emily Lopez; as well as his older sister, Buena May Carlson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions go to St. Pauls Episcopal Day School, 4041 Main St., KCMO 64111.
