Obituary

Eleanor Rose Blevins and Florence Lily Blevins, treasured daughters of Adam and Diana (Benoit) Blevins, were born and taken into heaven on July 31st, 2026, in Aurora, Colorado. Eleanor Rose graced this world, arriving at 9:55 p.m., with her identical twin sister, Florence Lily, arriving just minutes later at 10:02 p.m. Though their lives were heartbreakingly brief, the depth of love their parents poured over them will remain forever.

From the earliest days, as Eleanor and Florence’s parents watched them grow during many sonograms, Eleanor’s personality began to shine through – her reserved and shy demeanor a sweet counterpart to Florence’s spirited energy, often dancing under the monitor. Adam and Diana cherished every glimpse of their precious girls, knowing each moment was a gift. Those cherished visits, filled with quiet anticipation, became memories that now bring both solace and longing.

Eleanor and Florence’s first and only hour was spent cradled in the warm arms of their loving parents, as they underwent baptism and received all the love and hope their mother and father could give. That sacred hour was spent with both the sorrow of parting and the unbreakable bond of family, a love that neither time nor loss can ever erase.

Adam and Diana had hoped and dreamed for two lifetimes of memories: watching their daughters grow, discover the world, and to meet the fullness of their personalities. A tragedy in the truest sense, the parents find some comfort in knowing that Eleanor and Florence are together, side by side in heaven, watching over their family and friends as guardian angels. The parents hope that others may find some hope and comfort in this as well.

Eleanor and Florence are greeted in heaven by their great grandfathers; J.D. Daniels and Paul Becker. In addition to their parents, the girls are deeply missed and loved by the family they leave behind: Robert & Suzanne Benoit (grandparents), Virgina Daniels (great grandmother), James Benoit (uncle), Timothy and Margaret Blevins (grandparents), Mary Becker (great grandmother), Eric & Joraine Blevins (uncle & aunt), Isaac & Benjamin Blevins (cousins), Aaron & Melanie Blevins (uncle & aunt), Levi & Avery Blevins (cousins), Elizabeth & Collin Connor (aunt & uncle), and James, Paul, & Simon Connor (cousins).

There will be a private memorial service in honor of Eleanor and Florence. Adam, Diana, and all of Eleanor and Florence’s family deeply appreciate the love, prayers, and support they’ve received during this heartbreaking time. Please continue prayers of comfort.
