Doris Jean Warren

March 17, 1936 — May 24, 2018

Doris Jean (Carlow) Warren, 82 was born March 17, 1936 to parents Jesse Earl and Thelma Dorris (Wholf) Carlow. Five years later Robert Earl (Bob) completed their family. Living fully for 82 years, she went home to Jesus on May 24, 2018.
From an early age, family was a priority. She was the oldest grandchild in her family, and shared many happy moments with cousins, aunts, and uncles. Her father died suddenly when Doris was 16, and she carried that loss with her. On May 21, 1954 dressed in a white suit, she married her only boyfriend Charles Robert (Bob) Warren. Their union lasted 62 years. Three little girls came quickly; Marsha, Linda, and Pam. Then God moved into their hearts and home. She wanted to follow her fathers example to follow Jesus and raise her family in the church. By her faithful example her husband also dedicated his life to service of the Lord. As Bob became a student at Southwest Baptist College, Doris went to work to support him and the family. After college, the family moved from Bolivar to Marble ill, MO where a son, Brian, was born, completing this family. Doris continued working outside the home during multiple moves. She retired from Nazarene Publishing. When her children grew to adulthood, her Grandmother years began. She is known by several "grandma" names; Mom, MeMom, and Grandma Mom. With MeMom being the favorite of the great grandchildren. She was blessed with 21 grands and 35 greats!
Most people would describe Doris as loving, humble, giving, quiet, faithful, trusting, and nave.
