Claude Douglas McRoy

Claude (Douglas) McRoy, 77, of Kansas City, KS, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024, at St.Luke’s Hospice House, Kansas City, MO. He spent the rest of his days surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born July 17. 1946, to parents Minerva L. McRoy and Andrew H. McRoy Sr., Leavenworth, KS.

During his life, Douglas was known for his devotion to being a father, passion for riding his Harley, big loving personality, funny sense of humor, 31 years of serving the United States, and being an amazing friend. He was a devoted father, friend, partner, and family man, always putting the needs of his loved ones above his own. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Douglas leaves behind Children, Tyra Boell,21, Kayla Lewis,28, and Miles Boell,24. Grandchild- Aniyah Davis, 11. Friends and family- Thelma Williams, Eric & Sheryl Scheele, Terry, and many more. His legacy of kindness, generosity, love, hard work, and dedication will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to know him.
