Charles R. "Chuck" Young

Charles R. Young (Chuck) passed away on Sunday, November 26th, 2023.  Rosary will be held at Muehlebach Funeral Home, 6800 Troost, KCMO 64131 12 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6th.  The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. prior to the Rosary.  Burial will follow immediately after the rosary at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Charles was born in KCMO on March 3, 1934, to Charles H. and Gertrude Young.  He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City.  He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, the Waldo Area Business Association and founder of Young's K.C. Mower in 1968.  Charles was predeceased by his parents, his wife, Patricia of 61 years, sister, Charlene Lloyd and brother, Harry Young.  Survivors include two sons, William and wife, Roxanne of Brooksville, Florida; Robert and wife, Cindy of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; and a daughter, Elizabeth and husband Tom of Arlington, Texas.  He also leaves 9 grandchildren: Carol Bell, Steve Young, Andrew (Haley) Kautz, Alex Kautz, Anna Kautz, Anne Young, John Young, James Young and Mark Young.  He also leaves 5 great grandchildren: Taylor Bell, emery Bell, Lucas Young, McKenzie Kautz and Aiden Kautz.  He is also survived by his sister and brother, Harriet Oxler and Rick Young and brother-in-law, Bill Morrissey.   In lieu of flowers please make donation to American Cancer Society in Chuck's memory.
