Carol Jean Cohn

Carol Jean Cohn, age 81, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2017 at Kansas City Hospice House. A Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 11:45am on Saturday, October 21st at Muehlebach Funeral Care, 6800 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. The Graveside Service will follow, beginning at 12:00pm at Forest Hill Cemetery, 6901 Troost Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri 64131.Carol was born on July 24, 1936, in McPherson, Kansas, to Russell and Celia Alger. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel Cohn; brothers, Russell Alger, Jr. and Ralph Alger; sisters, Dorothy Lewis, Deloris Myers, and Charolet Alger. Carol is survived by her two sons, Louis Cohn (wife Lora Cohn) and Kenneth Cohn; her granddaughter, Heather Cohn; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family would like to thank the caregivers of Greenwood Terrace Independent Living of Lenexa and Kansas City Hospice House for providing compassionate care in her final days.
