Beverly Louise Daly

Beverly Louise Daly, 90, of Olathe, Kansas passed away Friday, October 26, 2018 at Santa Marta, her place of residence, peacefully and surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Kansas City MO., on November 21st, 1927 to George and Ethyl Vandyke McElvain and was a lifelong resident of the Kansas City area. Bev graduated from the University of Missouri in 1950 with a Bachelors degree in education, and was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority. It was here that she met the love of her life, Pat Daly. They married on May 21, 1950, and together they raised 6 children.
Bev was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Pat, Brother Van McElvain, Grandson Michael Daly, and Son-In-Law Cliff Bryan.
She is lovingly remembered by her Children; Donna, Bob (Kelly), Steve (Mary), Nancy (Mike), John (Debbie), and Maggie (Paul), Her 15 Grandchildren; Jennifer (Robbie), Patrick, Alex, Sam, Kate (Joe), Tom (Rachel), Ryan, Adam (Amanda), Taylor, Chris, Anna, (Kyle), Megan (Johnny), Liz, Kristen (Rob), and David (Cassie), and in addition, her 11 Great Grandchildren; Madelyn, Garrett, Ellie, Charlie O., Emma, Charlie H., Addie, Reese, Hollis, Paige and Parker, and Her Sisters-in-law, Kathleen Daly Brown and Peggy McElvain.
Above all, she embraced her Catholic Faith and was an exemplary role model to her family. Bev volunteered for 25 years at St. Joseph Hospital. She also enjoyed playing cards and golf with her dear Friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church Of The Ascension, 9510 W. 127th St. Overland Park, KS., 66213, on Friday November 2nd with a Visitation beginning 1:15 p.m, and a Mass to follow at 2:15 p.m. A short reception will follow. A private Family burial will be held on Saturday.
A special Thanks to her Compassionate caregivers at Santa Marta, and KC Hospice.
Those who so desire may make Memorial Donations in memory of Bev, to Catholic Charities, or the Michael P. Daly Memorial Foundation.
