Beverly J. Tumberger

Beverly June "Bev" Tumberger, passed away November 4, 2021 at Sunrise of Leawood, with her family at her side. Born September 5, 1929 to Samuel and Mary Levy and was raised in Kansas City. Bev graduated from Central High School and Saint Teresas College completing a registered nurse designation.
After 26 years of being a stay at home mother, Beverly rejoined the work force at Truman Medical Center retiring in 1997. Beverly enjoyed volunteering at the Childrens Center for the Visually Impaired, as an Ambassador at St. Lukes Hospital and many service endeavors at Guardian Angels Parish.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Robert, her parents and her brother Robert Levy and son Paul Tumberger, daughter Denise Strohm, son in law Mike Strohm. She is survived by her children; Robert (Carol), Steve (Sharon), Laura DeMaria (Steve), Gary (Karen), Larry (Jill), Mathew (Heidi), Julie Ismert (Ed), Daniel (Shelley), Lyn McMahon (John), Philip (Anna); 44 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Sister in laws; Dorothy Levy, Mary Augustine and Margie Dubes and many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Friday November 12 at Muehlebach Funeral Home from 5:00 -7:00 PM
A private family Mass of Christian Burial in honor of Bevs life at a later date. In lieu flowers the family recommends donations to Bright Futures Funds.
